Movie Gist
The Martian is about a manned mission to Mars. It is during this mission that the astronauts face fierce storm & an astronaut, Mark Watney, is left behind by his crew presuming he's dead. But Mark has survived the storm & finds himself all stranded on the planet with scarce supplies. The movie proceeds with how Mark fights to survive & tries finding all possible means to send a signal to Earth.
