Agent Honeybutt getting tortured

Milchmann, steals the top secret chemical formula from the laboratory. The Chief of the Secret Service worries about what would happen if the formula went into wrong hands. He, therefore, reluctantly appoints the only agent he has left with for the mission to retrieve the formula. The agent is a least-able operative, ignorant & bumbling Agent Desmond Simpkins (Kenneth Williams) & his inept, unstable trio of trainees – Agent Daphne Honeybutt (Barbara Windsor), Agent Charlie Bind (Charles Hawtrey) & Agent Harold Crump (Bernard Cribbins). They travel across the globe in search of the precious top secret formula. There is yet another agent
hired – Carstairs (Jim Dale), considering the lack of experience in Agent Simpkins & his trio.
Agent Simpkins & his trio in
Dr. Crow's secret layer
The four (Agent Simpkins & his trio) are hot on their trail, chasing the antagonists. The disguises are gadgets’ galore are a necessity to win against the villains. On their way they encounter the STENCH agents, the Milchmann & the Fat Man. There is a lot of idiocy involved during the search process, until they end up in dastardly Dr. Crow’s (Judith Furse) secret layer.
The trio imprisoned by Dr. Crow
The movie goes on how Agent Simpkins & his trio manage to escape from the tortures of Dr. Crow & retrieve the formula. Outstanding moments in the movie are the photographic memory of Agent Daphne, Agent Simpkins’ overconfidence in the search & the torture in the secret layer of Dr. Crow.
